Stephanie Stafford vs Erica Taylor – Welterweight – Low Kick rules kickboxing
This is hard. There is so much happening right now I’m barely able to describe it. The ref actually separates them from continuous ineffectual striking. No clinch or hug, they just aren’t doing anything on the inside and need to get separated. It just happened again. The ladies are both landing strikes of every kind, both hands and low kicks with both legs as per the rules. Stafford is favoring a 1-2 punch combo and following up with leg kicks while Taylor throws a lot of body kicks. Looks like a pretty even round.
Second round, Stafford seems to be weathering the blows better and landing some good leg kicks as before. Stafford also appears to have the superior cardio definitely the more resilient fighter. Taylor lands a few quick jabs but is still losing the fight.
Last round, Stafford goes back to her formula of straight lefts and rights with leg kicks. She is an unstoppable barrage of strikes and Taylor not only loses in the exchanges but can’t keep up with the pace.
This fight was ruled a draw.

Jerico postures up for some shots but is careful to maintain his position. Jerico is smothering with the shoulders but not looking for more than that when Aundra is able to stand up finally. They stand up and clinch quickly. They both try for some knees but are unable to land anything significant when Jerico gets another takedown and lands some shots in the schoolyard hold.
Round 2 Aundra is wary of the takedown and keeping his distance with kicks and punches. Jerico is also apt for the striking game and throws some big rights with bad intention. Aundra is able to stun Jerico once and gets a few extra punches in when Jerico puts his hands up to defend. Jerico gets to a clinch but can’t score anything and they are separated. Aundra lands some more stunning shots and Jerico covers up. Aundra punishes as much as he can but they both gas. Aundra goes for a body lock and drags Jerico to the ground. Aundra is in side control but is too tired to improve position.
Round 3 Jerico looks tired and covers up when Aundra comes with anything. Aundra tries to penetrate the defense but Jerico stays standing and throws a punch or two from behind cover. Aundra pushes Jerico down for a guillotine attempt but his finish is lazy and Jerico is able to move to side control. Jerico taps his reserves and reigns down blows to the head. He hits the back of the head a little too much and he gets a warning. Jerico finally listens to his corner and throws a few leg kicks. Jerico feints a kick and throws an overhand right to some effect. These guys slug it out till the last seconds with the last bits of energy they have.

Lee is the more active fighter throwing lots of probing jabs and leg kicks. Spencer looks to take his time and load up on his shots. The blows landed remain about the same so far though. Spencer fins a strong string of combos and jars Lee but good. Spencer moves to a mostly counter posture and is having some success.
Round 2 Spencer initiates some of the contact this time and uses double jabs and leg kicks to close distance. Lee is just late to the party in some of these exchanges. Spencer found a rhythm and distance that works for his striking game and Lee is just a half step behind.
Round 3 Lee stalks Spencer with some body kicks. Spencer seems to be biding his time and unleshes some strong left hands that land. A third lands by way of a superman punch and a fourth followed by a body kick. Spencer lands a push kick that lands at Lee’s liver and hurts him. Spencer follows up with a left hook to the body. Monty approaches with some punches, kicks, and ends with a double leg and back inside control. The 2nd round progresses much the same way the first did. It still looks like Williams is getting the better of the exchanges but Simmons is certainly fighting a technical battle.
3rd round Simmons comes out with a strong push kick and 2 leg kicks. She also starts using her jab more to keep that range. Williams pops up with an overhand right and then another.
