Local fighter Adrienne Simmons has passed.
Adrienne Simmons succumbed to injuries sustained after her bout this weekend at the IKF Kickboxing tournament. WTSP reports that Simmons took a left hook during her bout that led to a KO. GeorgiaFighters.com reported that shortly after the KO of the Championship bout, Simmons went into surgery for bleeding of the brain and then into a coma. Officials say she passed on Monday from those injuries.
