Fight Party has a long-standing reputation for innovation and providing a stepping stone for fighters on their way to the “big show”; pay-per-view and nationally televised events. An integral component of the contingency which brought the first-everLIVE MMA event to an active combat  zone (A Fight Night for Heroes – September 5th, 2009 FOB Marez, Mosul, Iraq) as well as a place for promising young fighters to hone their skills on their climb to the top. Fighters ranked at one time or another in the upper echelon of their division, BY THE NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SANCTIONING BODIES such as: Forrest Griffin, Cole Miller, Jorge Masvidal, Jason Miller, Melvin Guillard, Brian Bowles, Micah Miller, Jorge Santiago, Matt Brown, Douglas Lima, Raphael Assuncao, Antonio McKee, Junior Assuncao, Brian Ebersole, Diego Saraieva, Leopoldo Serao, Dustin Hazelett, “Chainsaw Charles McCarthy, Luigi Fioravanti, Jeff Bedard, Paul Creighton, Todd Dufee, Thomas Denny, Marcus Hicks, Jonathon Brookins, Tom Speer, Kyle Bradley, Nissen Osterneck, Clay Harvison, Rory Singer, Brandon Lee Hinkle, Travis Fulton, Abongo Humphrey, Blake Bowman & Georgia Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster, to name a few, all have honed their skills in the Fight Party steel cage.

*Fight Party titles are based on the longstanding track record & reputation of Fight Party Productions, LLC and Fight Party alone.  In no way, shape or form does Fight Party intend to  represent, insinuate or defraud the public into believing that any State or National Sanctioning Body endorses these belts.

Marius Cujba gave us a few minutes to answer some questions about this weekend and his career. Marius is one of the most humble guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He’s actually really great to be around until he Judo’s you on your head.

NMMAF: This is your toughest test to date. How do you plan to come out on top?
MC: I will just try to do my best to overcome the challenge. I train hard for every fight.

NMMAF: You’ve outstruck elite grapplers and out grappled elite strikers, how will Cofer’s balanced attack play into your strategy?
MC: I will just try to follow my strategy the best I can so I can win. I have to be ready for anything.

NMMAF: You seem to be picking your fights very carefully and developing your record against tough competition. Do you see yourself in a major promotion soon?
MC: I am hoping that I will have this chance before I retire. I take the fights my management and coaches agree are best for me and my career.

NMMAF: How do you balance your training regiment to be able to teach but also stay in pro fighting shape?
MC: Knowing my priorities, balancing my time and taking the best of my time every day. My coaches and training partners at X3 work together as a team should to get everyone ready for a fight.

NMMAF: Is there anyone you would like to thank? (trainers, sponsors, etc?)
MC: First I would like to thank God for everything and then to X3 Sports trainers, training partners, management, and my whole team. My sponsors are: Cobb Pain & Rehab (Dr. Jason Weeks), Apogee 360, Mix1, Mosquito Squad, and The InHouse Graphics – Thank You.

Marius Cujba to face Diego Sariava at Wild Bills Fight Night 34 on March 11th.

March 2nd, 2011 No comments

From Georgia Fighters

The #1 and #3 ranked lightweights meet in the main event of the Friday, March 11 Wild Bill’s Fight night for the vacant Georgia Fighters Championship (GFC).
Diego Saraiva, ranked #1 with a 19-10 record returns to the main event for the second time in a row. His last fight was a second round submission victory over Joe Elmore. The fight, although it was in January, is already being mentioned as a Fight of the Year candidate. Saraiva has headlined three Wild Bill’s Fight Nights in the last year with each fight being a win for him and candidates for Fight of the Year. Saraiva has also fought three times for the UFC and once for Bellator.

Marius Cujba should prove to be Saraiva’s toughest test. The product is X3 Sports’ top fighter with a perfect record of 10-0. This will be Cujba’s first fight at Wild Bill’s.
The undercard proves to also provide fireworks with at least 5 pro fights, three title fights on the card and a female fight!
